pixfolk is a platform that connects photographers with creatives, travelers, and hobbyists for photo walks, portrait sessions, and studio shoots in cities around the world.

Do I need to be a professional photographer to join?

No! pixfolk is for everyone — whether you’re a complete beginner, casual shooter, or passionate hobbyist.

What types of experiences can I book?

You can book photo walks, 1:1 sessions, studio shoots, or film workshops — each led by a local creator.

How do I book a session?

Simply choose a listing, select a time, and book directly through the platform. You'll receive confirmation and details from the creator.

What happens after I book?

The creator will confirm the booking. You’ll receive meeting details, what to bring, and any special notes before the session.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Each creator sets their own cancellation policy, which you can see on the listing. For questions, you can contact us anytime.

What if I have no gear?

Many sessions welcome all skill levels and camera types, including smartphones. Some creators may even provide cameras for film workshops.

Is pixfolk available in my city?

Who can become a creator on pixfolk?

If you’re a photographer with a unique perspective and want to share your skills through guided sessions or workshops — you’re welcome to apply.

Do I need prior teaching experience?

Not at all. If you’re comfortable guiding others, sharing your passion, and providing a great experience, that’s what matters most.

How much does it cost to join?

There’s no upfront cost. pixfolk takes a small commission from each booking to cover platform, payment, and marketing costs.

How do payouts work?

You’ll receive payouts directly to your bank account after the session is completed, minus platform fees.

Can I choose my pricing and schedule?

Absolutely. You set your own prices, session types, availability, and group sizes.

What kind of sessions can I list?

Photo walks, portrait sessions, studio time, film workshops, or creative niche experiences — it's fully up to you.

How will pixfolk promote my sessions?

We promote creators through the website, social media, blog features, and special campaigns to drive bookings.

Do I need to handle customer support?

You handle your session details and communication with booked clients. We handle platform support and customer service for bookings and payments.
